At least 19 people died, and more than 100 were injured when a fuel tanker exploded on a highway in Zhejiang province last Saturday afternoon. The tanker exploded after the vehicle ran off a highway near Wenling. Several homes and factories collapsed in the blast, and sections of the highway were closed.

6月13日下午，中国浙江省高速公路上一油罐车发生爆炸，已致至少19人死亡、百余人受伤。这辆槽罐车行驶到温岭一带时突然冲出高速并发生爆炸。数座民宅和厂房倒塌，高速公路部分路段关闭。

More than 450 firefighters were sent to the scene to rescue people trapped in their houses and cars. Preliminary investigations indicated that the explosion occurred as the driver of the truck, transporting the fuel from Ningbo to Wenzhou, was exiting the expressway②.

450余名消防员被派往现场，营救困在房屋和汽车中的人们。初步调查显示，该槽罐车在运送燃料，由宁波开往温州，爆炸发生时，司机正要驶离高速公路。
